Looks like your QUSCUSAT prototype is wrong.
"* CONST" for the attribute DS is an interesting choice.
Here's the one I use in the RPG xTools.
D QusChgUsrSpaceAttr...
D PR ExtPgm('QUSCUSAT')
D RtnLibName 10A
D UsrSpace 20A Const
D USAttr 64A OPTIONS(*VARSIZE)
D api_error Like(apiErrorDS)

Subject: Re: User Space size
Thanks Scott. I did a search after posting this, and found that out.
It's kind of silly that you can't create a user space with the
auto-extender bit on... Anyways, I have tried to make this work, and I
can't seem to cause the user space to auto-extend. I know it isn't
hitting the upper limit.
I have my prototype:
D ChgUS PR ExtPgm('QUSCUSAT')
D SpaceLib 10A Const
D SpaceName 20A Const
D SpaceAttr * Const
D SpaceError * Const
Other used fields:
D ReturnLib S 10A Inz(*Blanks)
D TempSpace C Const('TEMPSPACE QTEMP ')
D USAttribute DS
D Count 10I 0 Inz(1)
D Key 10I 0 Inz(3)
D Length 10I 0 Inz(1)
D Value 1A Inz('1')
D USAttrPtr S * Inz(%Addr(USAttribute))
Then after the creation and pointer gathering, etc,
CallP(E) ChgUS( ReturnLib :
TempSpace2:
USAttrPtr:
ErrPtr);
I get an error on placing data in the array that is pointed at the
user space when it reaches the initial limit. help!!!
TIA
