Willie, Can you tell us what OS400 release you are coding for? There are some date math features that only work in newer releases. In general, you might want to spend a little time with "the redbook". http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/pdfs/sg245402.pdf You load your date and time values into two timestamp variables, then subdur for the difference in minutes. From here, %Div(Minutes:60) to get hours and %Rem(Minutes:60) to get the minutes.
