Can someone explain me what's exactly means the keyword *export on a procedure?
The EXPORT (not *EXPORT!) keyword on a P-spec means that the procedure is exported from the *MODULE. In other words, it can be called from other modules that are bound to the same program.
It's also a prerequisite for it being exported from a service program. In that case, it also has to be exported in the binder source (unless you use EXPORT(*ALL) which is not recommended).
If you have EXPORT on the P-spec but don't list it in the binder source, the module can be called by other modules within the service program, but cannot be called from outside the service program.
