I have 2 files with a 1 to N relationship where I need to select a common field
from the 2nd file.
Since there is a 1 to N, I can not use SELECT INTO, but must use SELECT with
either DISTINCT or GROUP BY.
The selection criteria will vary every time I need to select this data.
Is it better to use the host fields in the SELECT statement WHERE clause, or to
use Parameter Markers and put the host fields in the OPEN statement?
Thanks,
Jeff Young
