Bob,

Depending upon how committed you are to this skills update, I might suggest
that you contract a trainer to come in-house. There are several names from the
lists here at Midrange.com that would be excellent instructors....

Another option might be a regional technical conference.

For do-it-yourself, you'll need to spend a great deal of time digging around in
Infocenter.... There have been numerous threads discussing the "getting
started with ILE" topics, so you might want to dig around in the midrange.com
archives.

You should also familliarize yourself with IBM development roadmap (Using ILE
is step 1).

Subject: Getting started with ILE, procedures, modules ... etc

Hello, folks,

I want to get myself and my programming staff up to speed with the
latest RPG-ILE coding techniques.
Can you guys point me in the right direction? Need information on
procedures, modules, service programs and such.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you, Bob Schwartz
