Hi Lim,

I don't think this is wise. with CONST the system might use a temporary variable, and that'll result in the wrong address in the FieldtoCheck field.

Don's goal is for FieldToCheck to be used to tell him where the database field resides inside the larger record buffer. For his code to work properly, he needs the address to point to a spot within the 'filerec' so using CONST would be downright dangerous.
