Even when using an axe you still have to keep your hands out of the  
way (e.g., splitting kindling). For executions a guillotine is a  
better option.

for that application?
That has always been the advice from those on this list who understand  
ILE. You may not find explicit advise in IBM documentation but it can  
be inferred from the documented behaviour of *DFTACTGRP vs. named or  
*NEW activation groups.
Sounds like you've got the message now so it's just a case of  
implementing changes for the better.
