I think my display actually defines a "true date" (DDS Data type = L) ?

I'd guess the display file has a 6-digit date field. 0001-01-01 cannot be converted into a 6-digit date.

I get RNX0114 on: WRITE C1CTL (the subfile control record)--
"The year portion of a Date or Timestamp value is not in the correct
range (C G D F)."
This confuses me because a dump shows the control record date field as:
C1DDATFR DATE(10) '0001-01-01'
DDS has C1DDATFR defined as "Data type L"
We're seriously past that born-on date, but I thought "*LOVAL" would
be ok ?
