I think for an existing system, you get a license for both OPM and ILE when
moving from <= v5r4 to 6.1 (7.1?)

On a new system, I supposed you could just pay for an OPM license..

Does this mean a system could (at least in principle) have just an RPG
III compiler and not an RPG IV compiler? If so, and if that is the
situation being faced by the OP, then I guess that would be the reason
for asking.
