...why on earth would you use some third-party library when it can be done easily with the tools that come with the machine though? Sometimes it seems people would rather spend ages fiddling with qhell, Python, curl, some third-party library etc. than learn to use SQL 🙂

CLOB is a bad idea for zip files.
BLOB is better.

Also, you will want to look at what postman is doing for the http header.
You probably need to include some sort of authentication.

Personally, I'd use the HTTPAPI and just send the file that way. Not everything needs to be done with SQL.
