We print barcodes on our picking tickets.  We changed OE341 using the
BARCODE funtion and compiled the print file using *IPDS.  If we compile the
print file without *IPDS it ignores the bar codes and will not print them.
I assume *AFPDS will work also. We use dot-matrix printers.

item no).  I have never had to use bar codes before, in fact I haven't been
using the AS400 that long.  Anyone on the list done something similar?  I
have to use the BARCODE opcode in the printer file don't I?  Do I need
additional functionality from IBM to do this?  We haven't bought the
scanners yet.
