By selective quoting you just put words in my my mouth Joe.  Your  
quote ignored all of the rest of my note where I said (among other  
things) that I was working for a change and hoped to see it.  I was  
merely pointing out that people at IBM telling you what their plans  
are does not constitute "official" particularly until prices and  
details are announced.
What I actually said was;
""IBM" have not said anything of the sort - the only thing IBM has  
officially said is that there is no entitlement.  Certain  
_individuals_ within IBM have said that they will investigate  
changing this so that some kind of upgrade path is available. You
have made suggestions to them as to what the upgrade path should be  
and so have I."
That's a little different than "saying there won't be" isn't it?
Heck Joe we both want the same thing - please don't quote me out of  
context like that.
