I’d look at the connection settings and make sure that there are not any unexpected spaces in the connection name or the ip name being used, particularly at the start or end?

I think I've found the workspace error log. It's in the metadata folder of the workspace, correct? I tried one connection using the "secure connection" checkbox and one without. Here's what the log shows for both, starting with the secure connection attempt (I've x'ed out our system name):

Vern,

A call to IBM isn't as simple as it could be. Our systems are hosted by a third party, so I'd have to go through them. And that could get pretty complicated.
