Interesting Mike. I worked with IBM support on this for weeks and they never once told me I had to whitelist javaw.exe. I've been without RDI now for at least a couple months.

What you can do as a temporary work-around is to whitelist RDI (rdi.exe and the active javaw.exe) in SentinelOne. This is likely something that your IT has to do for you but it seems to have worked for all the instances that I know of.

Similarly for 9.6 but I don’t expect a fix for it as it will be going out of support in a couple of months I think.

Thanks for the reply. Update decisions are controlled by corporate and I'm beyond the 10 day time frame, so I guess I'll be waiting for the 9.8 fix.

Thanks, Bob D.

Hi Bob,

We recommend NOT updating to Windows 11 24H2 currently. It's not supported.

The current workaround is to roll back the Windows 11 24H2 update.
(You have 10 days to do so.) Microsoft has been issuing fixes to the
23H2 stream, so users do NOT need to update to 24H2 currently. (See
the step-by-step process below.)

We are working on a fix for the people who are beyond those 10 days,
but only for 9.8.

9.6 will not be supported on Windows 11 24H2 unless Windows issues a fix.

Using the Go Back feature:
1) Open Settings
2) Go to System > Recovery
3) Click Go Back under Recovery options
4) Follow the on-screen instructions
5) Confirm that you want to go back to the earlier build

RDi 9.6 and RDi 9.8 both fail with a Java exit code of 1073741571. Is
a fix or workaround available for this error?
