Working as designed :) When you tell your browser http:// it uses a
different protocol from when you use https://. It is possible to have a web
server listen for http:// on port 443, but that defeats the purpose.

FYI, when I try on my server, I get:

Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Reason: You're speaking plain HTTP to an SSL-enabled server port.
Instead use the HTTPS scheme to access this URL, please.

So everything seems to be set up correctly. When I
try to access my site with:
https://www.estes-express.com

everything is fine.

But when I use:
http://www.estes-express.com:443

I get a "Cannot Find Server or DNS Error" from IE and
"Document Contains No Data" from Netscape.
