We actually had a woman that had it @ home. Our first E-commerce site worked well with it.... I figure - for E-commerce - the lowest common denominator NEEDS to be used. For B2B - make 'em buy what you need to do business. The Programming is ENTIRELY different - the E-commerce things are driven by Marketing - which is a "Oooo we wanna do this 'Cause it looks good" thing - for B2B it's "Make them enter this so our company saves mucho dinaro!" Maybe you've changed my mind as to what else to test with. Right now I usually do IE, NS and Mac. > -----Original Message----- > From: Andrew Borts [mailto:andrewb@setacorporation.com] > Sent: Friday, April 13, 2001 8:53 AM > To: 'WEB400@midrange.com' > Subject: RE: Follow-up to "Simple HTML problem" > > > Poopies (Sorry for the harsh language everyone - but Brad > just got me so > miffed!) > > Actually - here's my percentages, and these are getting more > accurate as > the days go on because I wrote an internal logging system... > > 84% - IE - Any Version - 70% of them using IE5.0 or higher > 10% - Netscape - Any Version - 3-5 of them are using Netscape > 6.0 on my > site... > 5% Other...
