I see now where I was looking incorrectly - the ovrdbf did take (I was in
the debug, sysreq 3/14 to see open data paths ect.)
This is a different "creature", if I went to another session and looked at
active jobs to see the open files and overrides,
they where there -

Sorry for jumping the gun on asking the list...

I have an un-easy feeling - can anyone give me a warm fuzzy on this
question;

Here is the scenario: In the green screen world we check the AS/400 userID,
if the user is DEMO
we override the databases to a test library.

In the web world I need to do the same thing - ok
I put in a command procedure(callp) and a usropn like I have before within
the RPG -
problem is, while in debug; to feel good about the code, I noticed this -
no files open, no overrides in effect (this was on the single not the multi
thread job)
Am I looking at this wrong? Am I overly paranoid? Or is there an issue with
this?

TIA
