Thanks for the info, I also did find out what bit me - I was also passing in
hidden fields the item numbers (same field names) as weather or not they
where checked for the class code (thus rendering the javascript impotant
against
previous "check marks")  At that point I did not need to pass that on in
hidden
fields, so I pulled that portion of code out of my rpg program...

I would debug your javascript.  You'll probably find the
problem there.

Also, one note.  If you really don't need a count of the
number of checkboxes and are just checking to see if any
were checked, I would have your AnyRecords() method just
reuturn TRUE if it finds a checked box (in the loop), and
FALSE at the end of the loop.  This will speed things up a
little and make the code a little clearer.
