I wrote a plug-in for the classic http server using the "server API".  Yes,
it's a very small (but important part) of my Relational-Web framework.  If
IBM were to discontinue support for the classic server, that would be my
queue to rewrite that module for appache, which I'd just as soon not!

yes, definitely. It seems to be at least as good as the original server API
approach, as IBM's SSL is also implemented via a "mod" - which is a service
program.

That's the main reason for my interest in this discussion.

Yes, but that's more than unlikely... I bet there are much more OV/400
users than Original server API users... ;-)
