Jim,
Here is a code snippit,
DhtmlOut S 1024 VARYING
Dx s 10i 0
c clear htmlOut
c eval htmlOut = x'15' +
C '<UL>'
C** '<TABLE border="1">'
c eval outLn = %len(%trim(htmlOut))
c callb 'QtmhWrStout'
c parm htmlOut
c parm outln
c parm qusec
...
The problem is that QtmhWrStout expects a string of characters, but not as an RPG varying length character field. It is getting confused by the length prefix on the variable. One thing to try is to define a based variable, set the basing pointer to %ADDR(HTMLOUT)+2, and pass the based variable as the first parameter to QtmhWrStout. Alternatively, use CALLP where the prototype for QtmhWrStout is defined with the first parameter defined as a pointer passed by value, and then pass %ADDR(HTMLOUT)+2 as the first parameter. Cheers! Hans
