Brad,

Basically I'm sending a string of comma separated values from the HTML to
the CGI. What I want to do is place the values into a variable to use in an
IN clause in an SQL statement.

Mark,

Are you saying you're parsing the QSEV by hand?  Why not use
an API, wrapper, etc instead of doing this by hand?

If that's not possible, the null should help you, not
hinder.  It signals the end of the string.  So you can
easily scan for the null, then get the length of the QS and
substring it into a temp variable.

Then again, maybe I misunderstood?
