Only thing I could think of, increase the timeout value.  No idea where it is 
though, since we don't use Apache here.

Dial up does have quite a bit more lag than a broadband connection.  That is, 
it takes longer for packets to get to a dial up connected computer than one 
using broadband.  (Doesn't make sense to me either, in theory it seems that it 
would take exactly the same time for a small packet to go to a broadband 
connection as to a dial up, such as Ping, but that does not take place in real 
life).
