I was thinking that a search box, combined Next / Previous page links would
be a good solution too.  Then some of the other comments on this list led me
to consider the value of just grabbing the scroll bar to quickly scan the
list by eye - sort of a pattern recognition concept.

With the Search box option, there's always that feeling that the Search
engine might fail to catch something that you might catch by sight.

We folks who develop software also have a tendency of suggesting the
solution we know how to implement, rather than the solution the customer
wants.
