aggree on the admin web server, but we were hoping theres a way to get it
downloaded to the remote sites without having to go through all the steps in
the process mentioned below

we hope to have several hundred retail stores using the application and are
trying to make sure no one goes home and trys to signon to the service
I came up with using the ip address but the concern is they will not be
static and that would cause problems

You need to use the "Digital Certificate Manager".  It is part of the ADMIN
web server.
