[WEB400] Chapter II of the Web Service Saga

I've gotten the web service to work.  The Java version runs without a
flaw, even though I'm serving it from my WebSphere Test Environment.
(The web service then starts up a session on the host using JTOpen and
uses that job to do its work.)  This is all great.

I also managed to get an RPG version working.  This program uses Scott
Klement's fantastic HTTPAPI and manages to actually access the web
service entirely through RPG.  There are some minor problems, but
nothing major.

But when my client tries to access the web service, he fails.  Why?
Well, we've isolated it to the fact that he's going through a proxy.
So, my question is has anybody ever used a Java client to access a web
service through a proxy?  Supposedly there's the ability to set a proxy
connection in WDSC, but it doesn't seem to be working.  Any ideas?

Second, if that doesn't work I'm going to attempt the RPG route.  Does
anyone know if Scott's HTTPAPI can be used over a proxy?  This whole
proxy thing is a real pain in the caboose, lemme tell you...
