Yes express is free but it only comes with 1 year support. You have to pay
for support after the first year.

I think that MAY depend on the iSeries model, Matt.  I think some models
come with WebSphere, some with development tools, and so on.  It's been a
while since I looked at the model matrix.

But the point is that you can indeed get a machine with Express and a pretty
healthy amount of CPW for inexpensively.  And with 6.0, Express even
includes <shudder> EJB support, in case you need that.
