Chris is that when you access http://myas400ip:2001/HTTPAdmin or just starting to access the the admin instance (eg http://myas400ip:2001)?

I JUST finished a V5R2M0 install and we get:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/as400/httpsvr/portal/WizardValidation java/lang/Throwable.(Ljava/lang/String;)V+4 (Throwable.java:85) java/lang/Error.(Ljava/lang/String;)V+1 (Error.java:41) java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError.(Ljava/lang/String;)V+1 (NoClassDefFoundError.java:38) com/ibm/as400/httpsvr/gui/AdminSession.getWASAPIs(Ljava/lang/Object;)Lcom/ibm/ws/os400/express/WASAdmin;+0 (AdminSession.java:304) com/ibm/as400/httpsvr/gui/AdminSession.haveWASExpress50()Z+0 (AdminSession.java:257) com/ibm/as400/httpsvr/gui/AdminSession.anyWASAPIs()Z+0 (AdminSession.java:201) com/ibm/as400/httpsvr/gui/SetupNav.getIntroHTML()Ljava/lang/String;+0 (SetupNav.java:170) com/ibm/as400/httpsvr/gui/SetupNav.getNavHTML(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/util/Hashtable;)Ljava/lang/String;+0 (SetupNav.java:88) com/ibm/as400/httpsvr/toolkit/HTMLNav.getHTML(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/util/Hashtable;)Ljava/lang/String;+0 (HTMLNav.java:81) com/ibm/as400/httpsvr/gui/HTTPAdmin.getFrame(Lcom/ibm/as400/httpsvr/gui/AdminSession;Ljava/util/Hashtable;Ljavax/servlet/http/HttpServletRequest;Ljava/io/PrintWriter;)Z+0 (HTTPAdmin.java:837) com/ibm/as400/httpsvr/gui/HTTPAdmin.doGet(Ljavax/servlet/http/HttpServletRequest;Ljavax/servlet/http/HttpServletResponse;)V+0 (HTTPAdmin.java:261) javax/servlet/http/HttpServlet.service(Ljavax/servlet/http/HttpServletRequest;Ljavax/servlet/http/HttpServletResponse;)V+32 (HttpServlet.java:740) javax/servlet/http/HttpServlet.service(Ljavax/servlet/ServletRequest;Ljavax/servlet/ServletResponse;)V+25 (HttpServlet.java:853) org/apache/tomcat/core/ServletWrapper.doService(Lorg/apache/tomcat/core/Request;Lorg/apache/tomcat/core/Response;)V+62 (ServletWrapper.java:405) org/apache/tomcat/core/Handler.service(Lorg/apache/tomcat/core/Request;Lorg/apache/tomcat/core/Response;)V+199 (Handler.java:287) org/apache/tomcat/core/ServletWrapper.service(Lorg/apache/tomcat/core/Request;Lorg/apache/tomcat/core/Response;)V+139 (ServletWrapper.java:372) org/apache/tomcat/core/ContextManager.internalService(Lorg/apache/tomcat/core/Request;Lorg/apache/tomcat/core/Response;)V+248 (ContextManager.java:806) org/apache/tomcat/core/ContextManager.service(Lorg/apache/tomcat/core/Request;Lorg/apache/tomcat/core/Response;)V+15 (ContextManager.java:752) org/apache/tomcat/service/connector/JNIConnectionHandler.processConnection(JJ)V+249 (JNIConnectionHandler.java:186) org/apache/tomcat/service/JNIEndpoint.service(JJ)I+13 (JNIEndpoint.java:176)

Still missing a class or jar in the classpath but not sure what the settings should be right out of the box.... I rememeber vauguely seeing this when we first install the model 800. Don't know what made it go away. We are back a CUME I think (C4077520)
