Finding Dependent file libxml2.a

Folks:

I am trying to put up php5 on a 520 with V5R4.  All the LPP prereqs are on 
the system.  When I try to verify the php install I get:

php -v  
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program php because of the following errors:  
 
        0509-150   Dependent module libxml2.a(libxml2.so.2) could not be 
loaded. 
        0509-022 Cannot load module libxml2.a(libxml2.so.2).  
        0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does 
not exist. 
        0509-021 Additional errors occurred but are not reported.   

I have php5 in  /QOpenSys/php5.

Any ideas what I am missing?
