If you can keep the Excel spreadsheet on your iSeries, you can use
CVTLIB from Kemetech. www.kemetech.com. If you need to keep it on
the NT box, but can map a drive from the NT box to your iSeries, you
can use either jExcelAPI or POI to access it.

Pro's,
I have a .jsp page on an NT server which reads an .xls file and performs
checks against the data in that spreadsheet. I have a DSN set up for the
spreadsheet on the NT box and the user always names the spreadsheet
pricing.xls. Everything works great. Now, I have installed Websphere Express
6.0 on my iSeries and want to move this application to my WAS 6.0. Any ideas
as to how I can accomplish this? No DSN?? Any ideas on this matter would be
highly appreciated.

TIA.

cheers,

Jake.
