You know, all that old rigamarole about having test
plans and unit tests and integration tests, which is now pooh-poohed by
the extreme programming crowd <chuckle>.

And lest I get lynched by the XP folks, yes I understand "test-driven
development". The problem is that these tests are unit-level tests and they
don't take into account system- or integration-level issues such as system
load, timing, side effects, or any of a myriad of other things that are
tested during a true system test.
