Any language and/or CLI that is a world standard, which ISN'T RPG. Perhaps the
db2_execute() and/or the SQL CLI. I'd have to see what would do the best
performing and all around good job.

odbc_execute(), or db2_execute()?

BTW, some RPG developers are using the SQL CLI functions from within their
programs, which is very similar to the PHP database interface. Very powerful.
