anyway, the HOSTS file is and locate in the same way of win xp.

you must find a file named HOSTS without extension (yes, thanx the joke to
MS) in the windows etc directory.
(hosts file is usually C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts)
(but your win directory would be other)
you will be sure you save the file WITHOUT EXTENSION, please be carefull if
you use notepad.exe.

then you can put here your lines as
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.1.4 myAs400
