It's nice to hear that Niels has some help on this. I seem to recall him mentioning that he could rely on someone who could weld under water with JavaScript ;-)
The ExtJS window offers a professional-grade container, but that's more than I'd need. I'd be interested in hosting 5250 sessions in <iframe> elements. If users were to toggle between one <iframe> and another in a portal, it would be helpful if field focus were retained where they left off.
The Web emulator is a critical part. If it lacks features, then users tend to switch back to Client Access. Don't allow tab keys to jump to the browser's address bar, for example. That's not to say it needs all the features in the Client Access emulator.
