I agree with Brian that using Zend Studio is the best approach - but they have finally fixed the FTP issues in the latest version so you do not need to use SSH - you can use FTP as the old pre-Eclipse version of Studio did. Still kludgy compared with a remote folder or the way WDSC/RSE does it but easier than messing with SSH.

The one oddball thing you have to remember is to set the server type in the FTP connection to Unix - NOT OS400! intuitive n'est pas?
