we don't use dtd or schema at the moment, which might prove to be a bad idea, but at the moment, I don't need it. It's me who writes the rpg that writes the xml that is used by the xsl. So I can do what I want! I just wanted to be sure I was doing it right.

I'm having a lot of fun with eclipse and oxygen xml editor. The editor will show me if the xml is incorrectly formed.


I know nothing about XSL-FO - just looked it up and found
information and tutorial at w3schools.com - if you have not
gone to that site, it is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Yes I've been there often. It's amazing what xsl can do, and I'm always in need of help to do it.
