What you suggest certainly fits within the offer, our goal is to be sure the PHP code involves the IBM i system in some way. That's what's important. How is up to the developer. In this specific case the PHP would be accessing an IBM i function to call RPG, hence the phrase "...other IBM i functions..."!

Jim, I think you should also include PHP code that calls RPG. Using PHP
as a thin client over RPG business logic fits what you're trying to
promote, doesn't it?
