Thanks!

I haven't had time to try this until this morning.

Works great!

It's interesting that there are two separate methods to start the web
services server, depending on whether you are using the integrated server or
the standard server.

But maybe this method you gave here would also start the other server too?
I didn't try it yet but perhaps I will later on today.

Thanks again!

Subject: Re: [WEB400] Auto-Start Integrated Web Services Server

All available IWS Scripts are located in directory
/QIBM/ProdData/OS/WebServices/v1/server/bin and should be invoked
from QSHELL similar to your below examples.

Based on your examples I think you are most likely looking for the

/QIBM/ProdData/OS/WebServices/v1/server/bin/stopWebServicesServer.sh

and

/QIBM/ProdData/OS/WebServices/v1/server/bin/startWebServicesServer.sh

scripts. If you call them from a QSHELL session with the -help parameter it
will show you some help text.

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how I can auto-start an Integrated Web
Services Server instance.

With the standard Web Services server, you can auto-start a single
instance by using a QSH command like this:

Stopping it:

CHGVAR VAR(&QSH) +

VALUE('/qibm/proddata/websphere/appserver/v+

61/express/bin/stopServer -nowait +

-profileName MYWASINSTANCE')

QSH CMD(&QSH)

And then restarting it:

CHGVAR VAR(&QSH) +

VALUE('/qibm/proddata/websphere/appserver/v+

61/express/bin/startServer +

-profileName MYWASINSTANCE')

QSH CMD(&QSH)

But because the Integrated WAS Server is structured (and stored)
differently, I cannot figure out how to start and stop it.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!
