Thank you Alan.... I have already updated my connect function..... I also found i5_date_sep and prefer to use the /DB2_I5_SEP_DASH option.

i5_date_fmt says the default is DB2_I5_FMT_ISO which formats a date of yyy-mm-dd ... that is exactly what I want... with the default use dashes even if I do not use

//i5_date_sep => /DB2_I5_SEP_DASH/

/I will do some testing.

Again... Thank You!

Rob,

Was it returning mixed-case column names in PHP that you were after?

If so, DB2_ATTR_CASE is what you want. (see http://php.net/manual/en/function.db2-connect.php)

Passing the DB2_CASE_NATURAL value specifies that column names are returned in natural case.
Passing the DB2_CASE_LOWER value specifies that column names are returned in lower case.
Passing the DB2_CASE_UPPER value specifies that column names are returned in upper case.

UPPER is the default but NATURAL will return column names in their original case.
$conn = db2_connect('mydb', 'myuser', 'mypass', array('DB2_ATTR_CASE' => DB2_CASE_NATURAL));

Alan
