First the scenario: I have a 45 record file in my development library
which I create and maintain with RPG & SQL. Another program reads that
data and creates a JSON file in /www/myweb/htdocs. Also in that folder
are the image, .css, and .html files for a web page to display the 45
records.
Two things are not working right.
First, its telling me the file is badly formed and points to row 1,
column 16. When I look at the file with WRKLNK the file looks
exactly like the file I have on another server and is working just
right.
Second, when I ftp that file to my PC and I look at the file it has
characters that are not a to Z.
The puzzling part to me is that this all works as expected when done on
my local PC and also when I install and run it on pair.com (where my
regular web site is hosted). It would seem to me that it should work,
or not work?
