What really irritates me is that it seems random. Of course it isn't,
but it seems it. 2 hours ago it wasn't working with IE. Took the dog
for her walk, came back, wrote this email, decided to double check and
now its working on ventures.martinvt.com/ but not showing the json data
on the iSeries with either Firefox or IE, nor showing the json data on
the local PC for IE.
Doesn't take much to keep me busy. :)

By chance, are you trying to invoke an xmlHTTP request against an HTTP
server located on your PC as opposed to sending the request to HTTP server
hosted remotely?
