You cannot run/invoke stored procedures directly from JavaScript any more
than you can call an rpgle program from JavaScript.


That was my first thought too.

Booth, browsers communicate with the IBM i HTTP server via messages. A
"request" sent from a browser may instruct an the IBM i HTTP server to call
a CGI program, which may in turn call stored procedures.
