I don't know if unixODBC is the simplest way but it works fine for me.

Hello All,

We are working on a simple web application that will be based on PHP but
not running natively on the i.

Currently the test system is Windows and the Client Access database
driver is being used to provide the connection to the backend database
(DB2 on the i).

I would like to move this application to our public facing Linux server.

Question is, what is the best/most simple way to connect to the DB2
database on the i from PHP on Linux?

I'm not the web dev, just the person trying to get the bread crumbs to
find the answer. But, feel free to be technical if you like and we'll
figure it out.

Thanks all.
