Hi All

We have had success with an Android App, not sure about Apple, called Server Monitor. You can set it up to monitor your servers and notify you (via the mobile device) when events occur.

There are a number of services that for a fee (usually small) will provide this kind of service. We have used Monitis for several years and fond it works well. There are also a few free services but we found them too unreliable.

Alternatively you can always write a bit of Python/PHP/node/whatever and run it on a cloud service somewhere that will periodically query your site/service and take appropriate action.

Hi All,

Currently I am using IWS for Webservices in IBMi.

I need to monitor the Web Service Server status and Service status. If
the status changes then my requirement is to send a message either
through text or email. Basically if either any Services go down or the
entire Web Service Server goes down we need to intimate the
corresponding team to take necessary actions.

I would like to know, is there a way to monitor the status of the
Server Jobs and Service Jobs automatically to achieve this?

Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Regards,
Surender K
