Richard,

The Hi-test C api's are an installable option. They do not automatically
get loaded when you install and/or upgrade Lotus Notes. Not sure if there
is an additional charge for the api's.

Rob and pnelson,

The domino server and db2 data is on the same box.

Using the apis would be a good solution, when domino was first ported to
the
as/400, they gave away some examples of rpg programs that used the apis (I
think they called them Hi-test C apis?).  I've looked for them, but I
haven't
been able to find them.

anyone know where I can find them?  I'll look for the api documentation and
roll my own, if that's what I have to do.
