As far as the Hi-Test API's, they are no longer supported or available.
Wetried to get these for one of our customers and talked with Lotus Supportand
that was the response.I believe that you should be able to write an agent that
would compare keysbetween the legacy system and the Notes db and then process
accordingly.I do know that RNext will have another product that will allow you
tocreate virtual views to backend data. Once again, this would not be
free. Here are some links to Notes.Net information that may
help...http://www.notes.net/46dom.nsf/Search/cb960b7018ff058d8525698a00526208?OpenDocument[1]http://www.notes.net/46dom.nsf/Search/894c1a47a6012ca885256918005bd5c3?OpenDocument[2]Thanks,Dave

data is on the same box.Using the apis would be a good solution, when domino
was first ported totheas/400, they gave away some examples of rpg programs that
used the apis (Ithink they called them Hi-test C apis?). I've looked for them,
but Ihaven'tbeen able to find them.anyone know where I can find them? I'll
look for the api documentation androll my own, if that's what I have to
do.Thanks,Richard

Please respond todomino400[ Converted text/html to text/plain ]Hi all,I'm
working on my webbased domino ap using DECS to mirror an as/400 fileinthe notes
ap. I'mhaving several problems though. Here are a few particulars: The file
I'mworking with is a work filegenerated and modified by native
as/400applications - it is fairlyvolatileas far as record adds, updates
anddeletes. the notes ap only updatescertainfields in the file. The formthat
DECS monitors only has a few of thefieldswith editing allowed. therest are
"computed for display". The DECSactivity is defined as "open, update"I'm on
os/400 V4R4 and R5.0.8.1. Records added to the file vianative programs do not
appear in thenotesdatabase.2. If I "initializekeys" the new records appear in
notes, but it adds allrecords from thefile, even if they already exist.
(duplicates).3. After I open, change andsave a document, the as/400 file is
updated, butthe link to the form fromthe view is changed to "<blank>".I could
change my application to onlyallow notes to add records to thedatabase, but I
was under the impressionthat DECS was two way street, thatifrecords are added
or changed in thetable natively, the new documents wouldbeavailable in
notes.Any ideas? What am I missing? any help here would be greatly
appreciated.RichardBairdrbaird@esourceconsulting.com_______________________________________________Thisis
