If you really have a problem with spam, though, I would at the very least 
recommend using one or more spam lists. We're getting some pretty good 
success with bl.spamcop.net (16,411 blocks), sbl.spamhaus.org (6,165 
blocks), and dnsbl.solid.net (979 blocks). Sure you won't get 98% blockage 
but I would say that anything is better than nothing.
