Jeff Crosby gave the 150-200 message number, not me.  We do not have hard 
numbers because they do not have reports yet, but just going by before and 
after stats in our mail logs we are receiving thousands fewer messages a 
day.

Your concerns are all valid, and they are things you would need to take to 
the service provider.  They did have good answers for all of them.  We 
have sent ourselves test emails from outside accounts and they arrive 
virtually instantly so any delay is really small.
