Two options here:
1) IP sprayer which is done at the network layer.  Great option.  Can be
used to fail over from server to server.
2) ICM which is a Domino solution.  Domino server is responsible for load
balancing/fail over to multiple web sites.  Still single point of failure
if your ICM is down.  ICM does not work with virtual servers.  Also, it
only redirects which means, it really only handles that first request.  If
it fails while a user is on, they have to go to that first link again to be
directed to a server which is running.

I would go with the IP sprayer.

Domino clustering works great.  However if a user goes to
http://mydomserver.mycompany.com and that domino server is toast, how do
you get it to automatically roll over to
http://myclusterbackup.mycompany.com
Maybe I'm saying it all wrong but I hope you get the idea.
