Maybe it wouldn't overwhelm most users due to the difference in it's
presentation - perhaps that is what they are looking for in their push to
use other email clients.

Keep pushing on Sametime. I have a gentleman in our department whose two
sons also program (and the newest one already has his 10 years in). He is
the kind of person who will never give up SEU for a GUI development
system. He now works from home some days. He is quite happy with
Sametime. In fact, he claimed he didn't need our Cisco softphone
capability to get his extension working on his laptop since he had
Sametime. That, from him, floored me. (He got the softphone the first
time he had to call our ERP vendor and they needed to call him back.)
