I get this message nearly every day. We IPL our 400 every night, and I
leave my PC running all the time. Also, I usually leave the CA connection
going when I leave at the end of the day.

What I do is take the Disconnect option, then Connect. This always works.

I believe that the client (my PC) does not know that the AS/400 has
terminated its part of the connection.

Similarly, when I use Explorer to look at the 400, sometimes I get the
message that the system is not available. All I need to do, usually, is
click the Retry button.
